Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Deepbrid is a cloud-based download management platform operated by Suba, Inh. Jerith, registered at Switzerland ("Deepbrid", "we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address, a username, and a password (stored as an irreversible hash, never in plain text).

Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We retain the minimum transaction data needed to manage your subscription, provide support, and comply with accounting and tax obligations (such as transaction ID, amount, date, and payment method used).

Technical and security data. To operate the service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, we process limited technical data such as your IP address, timestamps of activity, and basic device/browser information. This data is retained for a limited period (see Section 5) and is not used to build advertising profiles.

Support communications. If you contact support, we keep a record of the conversation to resolve your request and for quality purposes.

Cookies. We use essential cookies required for login sessions and basic site functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations, including responding to valid legal requests from authorities

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to create your account and provide the service you subscribed to
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to secure our platform, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to comply with applicable law, tax requirements, or valid requests from authorities

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, and deleted within 48 hours of a verified deletion request (see Section 8)
  • Transaction records are retained for 3 years to comply with accounting and tax obligations
  • Technical/security logs are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted, unless retention is required longer to investigate a specific abuse report or legal request

6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We share data only with service providers who help us operate Deepbrid, under contractual obligations to protect your data:

  • Payment processors, to handle transactions
  • Infrastructure and hosting providers
  • Support/helpdesk tooling, to manage support tickets

We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms to ensure your data remains protected.

8. Your Rights

If the GDPR or a similar data protection law applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Port your data to another provider in a structured format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the [Autoridad de control])

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or open a ticket at https://www.deepbrid.com/helpdesk. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and password hashing — to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

10. Children's Privacy

Deepbrid is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email or through a notice on the website before the changes take effect.
